Retention of Online Records 

Sarah Dow Counselling are committed to complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and ensuring the protection of our clients' personal data. As part of our policy, we keep online records for a period of seven years, as required by both COSCA and Insurance. I am also registered with the ICO. 

Types of Stored Information 

The types of information we store include: 

• Name 

• Date of birth 

• Address 

• Contact details 

• Doctors 

• Medical information 

 

This information is stored on a password secured laptop that is only used for work. I use Proton email which is more secure to use. I will not sell or share your information to any one unless previously agreed by you.  

Access to Stored Information 

Clients have the right to formally request access to their stored information at any time. We will provide a detailed report of all the data we hold upon receiving a formal request Via email.
